The new MEMS microphones combine a good sensitivity up to about 120 kHz and an omnidirectional pickup pattern. The sensitivity (signal-to-noise ratio) is between the Knowles FG and the CM16/CMPA microphones. The unwanted resonance peak of the frequency response around 25 kHz can be compensated by activating the .MEMS.flf custom filter option of the RECORDER and SASLab software.
